Flowers For Valentines Day

I didn’t expect that I would receive a bouquet of flowers last Valentines Day but I was so happy that somebody gave me this bunch of flowers and a box of Krispy Kreme.

I am a certified hopeless romantic and yes I would love to receive flowers on Valentines Day and ordinary days with chocolates and signs of love and affection too. That is why I cannot help but ask my friends to take a photo of me holding my beautiful bouquet of flowers. I was wearing a flower crown that I bought from Cogon which costs around 100php.

What did you receive last Valentines Day?

The Bassoon

Growing up in a family that has musical interest and friends that plays in a band, you get to be curious as to how they learned. Most of the people I know plays a guitar, piano, and drums. But one of the instrument that I find interesting is the bassoon. This wood wind instrument is used mostly in symphony orchestra and concert band. Just like the flute you will need all your force and power in blowing air against and through the blades to produce a sound. This instrument can be disassembled and placed in an exceptional bassoon bag for traveling. Easier to carry around unlike the guitar, organ, or drums. Hopefully too, music school here would offer more learning class on wood wind instruments like bassoon.

Celeteque Maternity Anti-Stretch Mark Cream

“Women always think about how they look.” – This is not an over statement, this is really true. When I was younger my looks didn’t bother me. I grew up in a small town and everybody doesn’t care about their bodies. I mean, my mom and my friends’ moms doesn’t care if they are fat, if they have wrinkles or if they have messy hair. What they care about was their children’s welfare and family’s needs. But now that I am older and now that I am a mom, I came to realize that you should give yourself a ME-Time and that we should uphold our self-esteem and confidence in ourselves after taking care of our family’s needs.

When I became pregnant I was afraid of stretch-marks too, and even though people say that having these scars are proofs that we have overcome a battle that not all women can face and that we should be thankful that we are chosen to give birth, I still prefer to have less stretch marks. So I tried so hard to avoid having them, but during that time anti-stretch marks were not available in the market yet so I have no choice but to endure them. But now that Celeteque has produced and made available to the market their Maternity Anti-Stretch Mark Cream I couldn’t be happier.

These are my battle scars:
photoAnd little by little they are minimized by applying Celeteque Maternity Anti-Stretch Mark Cream. This product is hypo-allergenic so it really safe to use and is dermatologist tested. Another good reason to use Celeteque Maternity Anti-Stretch Mark Cream is that it is OB-Gynecologist-certified safe for pregnant women, believe me I am hesitant to apply just anything to my skin when I was pregnant too, so I always make sure that everything I use and apply are safe for me and my baby.

My Jar of Gratitude for 2014

I saw a lot of people (bloggers actually) who are posting their Jar of Gratitude photos in their Facebook timeline that is why I am encouraged to find that perfect jar for me too and make a list of all the things I am grateful for one at a time everyday. So that by the end of the year I would know how many times I was helped by God and how many times I realized that I should be grateful for all the things He has bestowed upon me.

Having a Jar of Gratitude would also mean that if there are days that I am down and not in a good mood because something I didn’t plan happened, reading all the notes that I have written in my Jar of Gratitude will be a great help to calm me and maybe make me realize that I am still lucky in so many ways.

Weddings

Weddings has always been one of my favorite events. I love the moment when the bride enters the church and walk the aisle with a smile on her face. I also love the theme that each couple would come up, and how the organizers pulled up the event successfully.

Planning a wedding will never be easy because of the number of things that needed to be prepared. The church, the venue for reception, the gowns, the food, the platinum wedding bands, and much more. But no matter how the preparations were made, what’s most important is the ceremony and vows of the bride and the groom.

Celebrating Chinese New Year at Centrio Ayala Mall

Me and my son, JB, went to Cagayan de Oro to go on a shopping spree (just kidding), we were there to buy all the things that JB needs for the pageant. While we are walking inside the mall, we saw these Chinese New Year themed stage and sofa in the center of Ayala Centrio Mall. A lot of people were taking their photos in the area together with their loved-ones and family. And because we only have each other at that time, me and my Jb went for a quick pose too.
