My Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs 2013

Every year, I am looking forward to this Writing Project simply because I could see a lot of new blogs created every year with FULL potential because they are owned by good bloggers. I am not a good writer that is why I don’t consider myself a great blogger. But I do write some nice articles once in a while, but I not every time. Some of my posts are lousy (haha). Anyways, without further ado let me present to you my choices for this year’s Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs.

My Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs 2013 are as follows:

1. WoMom – The WoMom is a blog owned by a dear friend of mine. She created this blog, though she already had old blogs, because she feels like she needed to create one for a greater purpose. Not for advertorials, or for rambling and bragging, but for sharing her thoughts about being a woman in process.
2. The Posh Traveller – I am a trying hard traveler and sometimes I am lost. I am glad that there are a lot of travel blogger online who share their experiences with different places such as the Post Traveler.
3. Definitely Librarian – I love LIBRARIES. I used to have a good relationship with our school librarian because it is my second home. And I am glad to see that Definitely Librarian has step up to the next level. This is my first time to encounter such amazing blogger.
4. Teresay – Tere Say is another fellow blogger that I met online through blogging groups. Relevant information is a strong point but what captured my attention is that I have learned a lot through reading what Tere Say online.
5. iWander. iExperience. iKwento – This is another great travel blog. I love bloggers who showcase their travel experiences, good and bad, online. How they conquer their fears, how they capture the photos, and how they enjoy traveling the Philippines.
6. A Letter Writer – I love to write letters. Love letters and friendly letters. I often leave love notes in different places when I was in college. I like this blog because it revives the old school art of courting and maintaining relationships, through letter writing.
7. Business What Ifs – I am a business owner that is why I do read a lot about business things. I came across this blog and I loved it. A lot of things are happening around us and I am glad that this blog opened my eyes about the small things that matters most.
8. FilipiKnow – This is my first time to LIKE, and actually read a trivia blog. The TOP TEN about everything and anything is just simplly awesome not to share and not let the world know about it.
9. San Josenyong Gala – This blog opened my eyes, yes. I am a Filipino and I would really love to travel the whole Philippines starting off with the tourist spots. But then again, this blog have opened my eyes to visit the less-traveled places because there are beautiful hidden places in the Philippines that we, Filipinos, should be the first to set foot at.
10. Online Geek Chic – I am chick but not an online geek, I love this blog because she’s a chick and she’s good at blogging, social media and SEO.

Of course, this Writing Project will not be successful without our SPONSORS namely : Optimind SEO Company, Infinity Hub, E-Commerce Boot Camp, and Digital Influencer Boot Camp, and more to be added.

Happy Birthday Tsik

Dear Tsik,

Thank you for coming into my life. I already have a colourful life and yet you didn’t fail to add more colours on it. I may sometimes act so childish and yet you never fail to understand me. You always see to it that all my needs are answered first before you go on with what you needed to do for the day. You always make me feel special.

You are always good with the kids; you always make sure that they are always attended to. You are a good provider and a great father. The kid’s needs’ are always on your top priority. You never fail to answer their questions with a laugh and a smile, and you play with them whenever you have the time.

I love you.

I love you because I love you. I don’t know how or why or when, I just know that I do love you.

I am sorry if I cannot cook for you because I don’t know how, sometimes I try, you know it, right? But maybe I will learn, eventually, because I know that I have to cook for you and for the kids in the future.

I am sorry if I sometimes lose control of my emotions. I am sorry if I get mad so easily for something that you do, but I am thankful that you always keep your cool and I hope that you will stay that way and that you will not get tired of doing what you always do, understand me.

Happy Birthday Tsik!!!

Best Mom

If I have to give an award for my mother, it would be for the BEST MOM award. Why? Because simply she is the BEST. Every son or daughter adores their mother so much and every mother loves their children the way the kids should be raised and loved.

If we ask other people, of course they will also say that their mothers are the best, and I don’t want to make an argument with that. I simply want to say that I am lucky to have my mother because she is God-fearing, she loves her children so much and that she would do everything and give up anything just to make her kids happy. And though my mom’s birthday is not yet near, I am thinking of gifts for mom on her day already. I want everything to be perfect that is why as early as now I am already thinking of what to give her on her day.

Graduation and Commencement Exercises

March is finally here and one BIG celebration for this month is the Commencement Exercises and Graduation for all the schools in the Philippines. From Kindergarten to Colleges, everyone is getting ready for taking their final exams and completing all their projects and requirements in order to graduate.

Most, if not all, will have to spend money to celebrate and buy gifts for their children who will graduate or will receive medals and awards for having good grades. The most common gift people buy are gadgets, toys and gift certificates, and I believe they will check out pc680 odyssey if they knew its worth too.

As for me, I will have to think twice before buying expensive gifts nowadays because everything needs to be meticulously checked before we bring it home.

Lovely Blog Award

My blog is having a problem and I cannot sign in for 3 days already and thanks God it was fine now. Pepper chooses me from MILLION of blog sites all over the word and gave me this AWARD:

Thank You so much Pepper because sometimes I thought I don’t write what other people would love to read. I only write what is important to me and I do not know if they have value to other people too.

But receiving this kind of Award makes me feel that I am special and that I belong to this blog-universe.

I am passing this Lovely Award to these AWESOME BLOGS that I know is worth it:

Mom Fashionista

Versatile Blogger Award for Zoan

I was supposed to write something about Vera of Verabear last night but I can’t figure what topic I would talk about but when I went to her blog just now, I found out she pass to me a versatile blogger award. Thank you so much Vera for the award.

And as part of that award I need to tell you, my dear readers, seven things about myself that you don’t know yet.
• Ever since I was a kid, I know I have a versatile personality or character because aside from being in the top ten, I dance well, I am part of the governing body in school and I love to play. I know I am not that multi-talented because I don’t sing well, but I try hard to be a part of every school activity that I even joined the school band (not the one with the guitars and vocalist but the band with drums and lyres and twirlers).
• When I was in high school, particularly fourth year, I am the school organization President, school seal of the drum and lyre corp, candidate for Valedictorian, cheer leader and declaimer, and still I have time to be a part of the church’s choir ( I am not a good singer but I still can sing).
• During college, I tried to lie-low in too much exposures to different organizations and clubs, so I just choose two, a social involvement program and my course’s club Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants, but I can’t keep myself from being a leader so again, I signed up to become a volunteer for the council.
• Maybe not all people who read my blog know that I tried to work before, but just for 3 months. I work as an accounting clerk in a company that buys chicken and sells dressed-chicken however I have to resign because I am pregnant (and being single that I am) and it shocked my father to death that he wants me to go home and stay home.
• Most bloggers already know that I own a small farm and a small business here in our town but they don’t know the story behind it. I was 7-9 months pregnant at that time and given that I don’t work anymore I tried my luck in sugarcane farming because my father has a 3 hectares land of no use. I drive the commando (a jeep mostly used in American soldiers and became a hit in the Philippines, a 4wd surplus) with a big tummy and I helped in planting the sugarcane.
• My business came about when my son is already 9 months old. Back then, I have no choice but to grab the opportunity life has given me. We need money so I loaned my father’s 2 hectare land (not the one I tilled) and his ten wheelers truck as well to start my business.
• And now, after 2-3 years I have already paid the monthly amortization for the ten wheelers truck and the truck’s registration is already ours again, I only need to pay back the loan for the 2 hectares land of my father. I think I am on the right track of my business.
So, that is me. That is all about me and the truth behind this woman’s smiles.
The rules are simple:
* Be sure to thank and link back to the person who gave you the award.

* Share 7 things about yourself.

* Pass the award to other bloggers who you think deserve it.

* Be sure to let the bloggers know you chose them to receive the award.

I need to pass this award to bloggers that I think are versatile so here they are:

Mariz of akosimariz.

Riz of Imriz.

Mona of workingathome.

Didi of chubbymommyme.
