What’s Inside My Bag

I am joining this week’s BC Bloggers MEME, and if you want you can join here too.

For this week, we are going to share the things that we have inside our bag. So I will let you take a peek inside my bag.

This is how my bag looks inside:

These are the things that can be found inside my bag:

What you see is what you get. I have my precious wallet, the one with lots of cards and photos. I also have a pen and my two check books. I have 2012 planner which I receive from a PMC mom during last year’s Grand EB. The yellow bag is where I put my money and checks for deposits to the bank. And I have my trusted comb wherever I go too. That little black bag there holds my iPhone, it’s charger and it’s headphone.

I don’t have make up kit inside my bag because I don’t use make up. I also don’t have my shades there because I usually put it in the car.

A 24 hr chronicle of My typical day

I have been absent in BC Bloggers Meme for awhile now because my ISP is not being friendly with me.

So I have receive the BC Bloggers Newsletter and I want to take part with the BC Bloggers Meme again. For August 1, I should share with you what happens every day that comes in my life. We all have 24 hours every day, right? So I’ll start at 12 midnight, I am still asleep at that time, I usually wake up at 7 am. But I breastfed my baby Chicay so she usually wakes me every 2 hours, that means at 2 am, 4 am and 6 am I woke up, breastfed my baby for about 30minutes then get back to sleep.

At 7 to 7:30 am, my mom makes me a cup of coffee then we will have breakfast. At 8 am I prepare myself (bath time/change clothes), at 9 am I asked Yaya Rose to prepare baby Chicay’s bath needs and clothes because we need to bathe her. Then 10 am to 12 noon, I usually take care of my baby Chicay while watching JB play and do some coloring stuffs with his books because Yaya Rose will laundry their clothes.

12:30 pm is lunch time for us and preparing JB for his school, and by 1 pm to 2 pm, I am waiting for the Coca-Cola Call Center’s call to get my Coca-Cola orders. 3 pm onwards, I am sitting in my chair, checking some stuffs online, do some online works, while auditing the sales for yesterday’s sales.

By 5 pm I will be watching the TV until supper. And by the way, from 7am to 8pm I am breastfeeding my baby Chicay every time she asked for milk. 8pm is dinner time , after that, I am back to TV watching again. I usually go to sleep at 10pm after my favorite shows on prime time.

Counting My Blessings

Upon reading my title post, what comes to your mind? Have you recently, counted your blessings? Because I have not. And thanks to the BC Bloggers MEME that I am compelled to sit back and think.

I am blessed with a Beautiful Family. It is a blessing that sometimes I tend to forget. I may have sometimes quarrel with my little brothers, I sometimes get irritated with my son, and I sometimes get hurt with what my parents tell me, but still, we are a family. We have each other and forever it will be.

I am blessed by overcoming my problems. Yes, just recently I encountered a problem with my business and thanks to God for guiding me, for helping me, and for telling me what to do to keep my business smoothly running.

I am blessed with the people around me. I have not counted my workers/employees as a blessing when I should have and I realized it now. They are helping me with my business and it will not grow if I don’t have trustworthy people who works for me.

Online Prizes. I won in Make or Break’s Smart Mom contest and the prize has arrived yesterday. The loot includes Smart Steps Baby Laundry Detergent, Smart Steps Baby Fabric Softener, and Smart Steps Baby Bottle Cleanser. I am a SMART MOM indeed and thank you to the people who shared and like my entry for the online contest. I will not be spending money on my baby’s detergent and fabric conditioner for at least 3 months I guess.

Every new day is a blessing. Last week, the bf suffered a motorcycle accident and I am glad he is fine now. We went to the hospital for n x-ray and ct scan and we are glad that everything is okay. He has cuts and bruises and I think it will be gone in few days. So I am thanking God for every new day that comes, that we are able to wake up and see Mr. Sun or wake up on a cool rainy morning as long as we will be able to wake up.

5 Things You Want to Do before You Get Old

5 Things I Want to Do before I Get Old

  1. Walk down the Aisle – I am not getting any younger anymore, and just like any other girl I also want to walk down that aisle wearing that laced bridal gown before I turned 40 years old. I want to have the perfect elegant wedding that I have been dreaming of before I get too old. Because when I am old, it will take forever for me to walk down the Church aisle if I don’t get married before I am 40.
  2. Have my Honeymoon in Paris – After the wedding rites, I want to have my honeymoon in Paris. Yes, Paris is the place to celebrate my honeymoon because it is the most romantic place for me. Aside from that I want to visit their Museums in see first-hand the works of Leonardo da Vinci.
  3. Walk around Disneyland with my kids – I have visited HK Disneyland two years ago and I can safely say that it is the best place to visit during family vacation because your kids will definitely enjoy it. So right now, I am thinking of getting my kids Passport so that we could visit HK when we have the money or budget to travel.
  4. Tour the whole Philippines – I love to travel, and yet I haven’t travelled my own country just yet. The Philippines has a lot to offer, we have a rich culture to share and learn, we also have white sand beaches scattered in the archipelago, and yes we have old churches located in different locations from Luzon to Mindanao. I have a very long-list of places/towns and municipalities that I would love to visit if I have the money and the time to do so.
  5. Bungee Jump and Sky Dive – I have tried the Asia’s longest zipline in Dahilayan Adventure Park, I also tried their zorb ball ride, but I still want to try Bungee Jumping and Sky Diving which is not available here in Bukidnon. I am a little adventurous and that is quite an adventure for me. For those who have tried it, would you recommend it?

BC Bloggers Meme:Things That Make YOU Happy

I am a BC BLOGGER and I  am joining BC BLOGGER’s MEME, if you like you can join us too, check it out here.

For today, the topic is all about the Things That Make You Happy.

I am not in a good situation right now, my mind is all cluttered up, my business is crumpling in front of me, and I couldn’t do anything about. But still, there are things that make me happy.
• Every day that God gave me makes me happy. Every time I wake up into this world, alive, complete and breathing makes me happy. If this doesn’t make you happy, I don’t know what is.
• Every sun rise or sun set that I am able to see and experience makes me happy.
• Every rain drop that falls into my head or in our rooftop makes me happy, after all, we need the rain once in a while.
• Every time I am able to see my son and my daughter, to be able to carry them in my arms, to be able to hug and kiss them, to teach them and scold them, makes me happy.
• Seeing my family still intact, my parents civil to each other after all the things that has happened between them makes me happy.
• Having my boyfriend who takes care of me and our children makes me happy.
• Drinking a cup of my favourite cup of black coffee makes me happy.
• To be able to wear my favourite clothes makes me happy.
• Seeing my friends happy with their own lives in FB makes me happy.
• Playing temple run makes me happy.
• Taking pictures of me and the people I love dearly and upload it in Instagram makes me happy.
• Blogging makes me happy.
• Approving comments in my blog posts from my old and new online friends makes me happy.
• Joining online contests and giveaways and winning from them makes me happy.
• Receiving text messages and calls from friends who seems to forgot me already, makes me happy.

And the list could go on and on and I will not stop here.
What are the things that make you happy?

How do you get your child sleep/take a nap during the day?

I usually let my 4-years old son play during afternoons then when I am not busy, I ask him to go to the room with me and we go storytelling after awhile he goes to sleep. Though it sound so easy, sometimes it is not especially when my son is so engrossed with his toys and games. Though I don’t take afternoon naps, I am there beside my son in order for him to feel that he is not alone. Sometimes I also do the bribing thing, I tell him that he can play with his PSP or my laptop if he will sleep for at least an hour or two.

When SAHMone SpeaksAt what month did you introduce solid food to your baby?

I think my baby was 4 months old when I first introduce him to solid foods. The foods I let him eat was the ones I bought in the grocery stores, Gerber and Cerelac. He loves the variation of foods because Gerber and Cerelac offers different flavors. There are some flavors he doesn’t like and I would know initially when I see his facial expression so I don’t force him to eat it and I don’t buy it again.

When he was 6 months old that was when I introduce to him little by little the foods that we normally eat like rice, potato and some food which are so easy to chew and digest.

When SAHMone SpeaksDo you make your kids finish their plates? Why or why not?

I do not force my son finish his food. I want him to eat because he wants to and because he feels and understands that he needs to eat. I do not know if it is just me but when I make my son finish his plate, he tends to stay away from the kitchen when its eating time. That is why I just let him eat what he wants to eat and when its time to eat. If he can’t finish his food at least he eat, if he can then very good.

If there’s one trait of your father that you’ve always loved, what is that?

I love my father so much and most people who knows us would say that I am my father in many ways than one. There were times when I have hated him so much but still, he is my father and I am my father’s daughter. I have forgiven him already and he has forgiven me for all the things I have said and done against him. And because yesterday was Father’s Day, I would like to make this entry as beautiful as I can for my father.

My father is a very good provider for his family, he knows how to make money for a living. He is a nobody but he tried and succeeded to make our life happy and fruitful. Our life story is not Rags to Riches kind, it is Rags to not so Rich. Even though it was hard, he manage to earn more money, that is why we can afford to buy our wants apart from our needs.

Toy Stories #3 – Bike

Toy Stories

Toy Story again and of course I have a story to share. We bought a new BIKE for my son again, this is his 3rd bike from the time he was born. His old bike has said goodbye again, after months of serving its master. My son really loves to ride his bike and so he wont stop as long as it can be ridden. But his old bike cannot serve its purpose anymore because its chair was broken, the tires are not round anymore and its chains was broken into two. And instead of fixing it, I better get a new bike because it is already small for him. So this is his new bike:
